Johnathy Dowe
John started life as a chunky 90’s kid in a small town with good grades and big dreams. Though often not by choice, he was somehow always appointed the “IT Guy” by his family and friends. When not troubleshooting someone else’s PC, you could find him and his cousin filming creative videos on his father’s VHS camcorder.
Throughout grade school John excelled in writing and band, receiving numerous awards and honors for both. He met Jane, his high school sweetheart, in 11th grade and dated her throughout college where he continued to enjoy writing as well as staying up to date on the latest technologies. Pursuing this passion led him to score an awesome job with Apple.
But after years of investing his creative energy into the narrow funnel of accomplishing someone else’s goals, he realized something. He could harness the talents he used every day and use them to create exciting and captivating content for others, helping them to fulfill their dreams.
After marrying Jane in 2020 they both decided it was time to take control of their destiny. They honed their skills, built a client base and took the leap, leaving their full time jobs behind. They launched Waterfall Marketing in 2022.
Janeathy Dowe
Jane started life as a normal backyard warrior, harassing insects, flying off homemade bicycle ramps and dancing until falling asleep. She was relentless. After suffering a few injuries from these antics, Jane eventually evolved to appreciate the intellectual side of life. She buried her nose in books, surrounded herself with music and art, and propelled through high school, graduating a year ahead of her classmates.
She then glided through college, obtaining her Business degree and falling in love with the art of video. Together, her and future-husband John, invested in some basic recording equipment and began creating content for themselves and others. Jane found great satisfaction in capturing special moments, telling stories and making her audiences feel something.
However, feeling the need to put her degree to use, Jane pushed her creativity to the side and landed an office job at one the largest entertainment companies in the area. Although the days were filled with excitement, she never felt the satisfaction and fulfillment she’d always hoped for. She needed to create. She needed to make a difference.
